Fazzini's Taverna

Fanzine's is a good local spot for Italian food. The arancini were excellent and the eggplant part was ok. The pasta is fresh and that makes a huge difference. The drinks and wine list were good also. Our server, Joey, was fantastic very attentive without hovering. He made some good suggestions and was very friendly. The atmosphere is not great maybe different music (though I do love the Beatles), but it felt too casual for the food served. Better lighting and softer music would really add something to dinner there.

We had reservations on a Saturday night, which I recommend if you don’t like to wait. Our experience this time was a good one. Their food is always good, and this time the service was great. Patrick, our server, was efficient and pleasant and our food arrived as expected. Love the eggplant parm. My husband asked to have his salmon blackened, and it was cooked just right. Not crazy about the decor, but really, who cares?

The food was not what I was expecting from a Italian restaurant. The food was lacking flavor.

It was just okay. But the salad was good. The acoustic were good.
