F.A.T. Fried and Tasty

After giving up fried chicken for many years, I cant tell you if this place is special or I just still love fried chicken...Either way, i just finished and it hit the spot.Chicken quality was better than KFC (at least what i remember) and..the skin is crunchy and salty just the way your brain anticipates it to be.I ordered the hot chicken (3 pieces) and coleslaw with an extra piece on the side ($3 ish). I ordered takeaway, but the food remained good and crispy later when i got it home(thanks to opening the box on the way home)The food was good, but my complaint is that this place isn't cheap and the extra piece was minuscule and definitely not worth the extra dollars. It was basically the front of a breast piece, probably about 4cms long and 2 cms wide. Coleslaw was average and a good accompanying dish to chicken.Ill go back, but with lots of good fried chicken joints popping up ill probably try somewhere else.

Big pieces of juicy fried chicken, burgers with crunchy slaw, ice cold beer on tap ... a fun place with plenty of street parking if you want to dine in. Grabbed a booth for six with friends and soon table was overflowing with mains and big side dish servings or corn and mc n cheese US style. Vegetarian fake chicken also on menu. Good place for friends and family. You won't leave hungry.

I had the chicken and waffles which were Amazing. The chicken was well cooked and well balanced with the maple syrup, waffles and ice cream. I then tried the hot hot burger, which was extremely juicy, fill of flavour abound with freshness. Definitely worth a visit and thank goodness I don't live here as I'd visit every day.

This place is visible from my accommodation and is always busy. I have eaten here before and have never been disappointed. This time was no exception and the Brunswick chicken burger is great value. I've tried the double on a previous occasion but found it too large to eat comfortably. Chips are great as well.

Fried stuff, pickles, mac & cheese. This is the comfort food to make up for whatever you did last night.
