This is my second visit to Restaurant Europa. Not much has changed. The food is excellent, the wine list is ok (cava, then one white wine covers most of the first few dishes, then a red for the “main” and a French desert wine). The restaurant owners spend time with their favourite locals (and nobody else). The staff do a great job and as my Spanish improves with each glass of wine the language barrier is broken down to reveal real personalities. The food itself remains fantastic. Ambience is just ok with the hotel reception just outside the door, a wifi router on the wall but the private rooms look great if you can book those. So, is it worth a trip for a fine meal yes. Is it on the same level as other Michelin star restaurants no, but neither does it cost nearly as much. Give it a go and enjoy. I will definitely return.
