This place was just off the park housing the bullring; the place didn't look much but looking at the menu and the wine selection, we thought we'll give it a try. There is an English version of the menu which is a great help and the waiter tried to communicate as best he could as did we in our poor Spanish. Nevertheless, it was clear from the understated menu that there was some good stuff here duck breast skewers, venison, a gorgeous veal mini hamburger with foie gras! The latter was possibly the best thing I ate in 3 weeks in Spain. so much so, we had 2. Perfectly cooked and slightly pink in the centre amazing! Diners next to us chose the pate selection and this too looked good and tempting. Portions are small but prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. Absolutely loved this place and highly recommended. It is understated, few frills to match the high quality of the food, which adds to the charm of this place. I cannot recommend it enough! Loads of meat and cheese dishes, you won't find fried calamari here, thank goodness.
