Elme Hall - Reservar uma mesa

A pretty environment and friendly staff. Despite having very reasonable prices, the food was mediocre at best. Fish pie without a sauce, fishcakes that were clearly bought in and reheated; each dish was sadly accompanied by wilted salad. When asking for a dressing... the reply was an offer of salad cream. The lemon meringue pie was returned, turned and flavourless...and drizzled unnecessarily with honey. As stated by other reviewers, slow service but pleasant people. We are unlikely to return.

the staff in the elme hall was absolutely fantastic. the receptionist and the manager did everything they could to get us 3rd and 4th overnight. in the did were all the individual employees we met, including cleaning ladies and the restaurant/bar staff, friendly and courteous and gave excellent customer service. the accommodation was ideal and the breakfast and dinner were nice.

thanx for the 70th birthday party of my father to a beautiful afternoon. we worked well with all 18 of our mixed age group (7-70). all 3 courses were delicious. and very well served presented. also to knock a vegan alternative with zero announcement. once again for all the employees. are looking forward to our next visit. x

An impressive building like this tends to stand out, particularly in a town which is short on impressive buildings. Curiosity was my main motive for pulling into the car park. I stayed for a coffee in the very comfort lounge, served by a pleasant and friendly lady. Perhaps one day I might stop for another.
