EL SANTO ANGEL - Reservar uma mesa

This is a very good choice to eat out in Leticia. The menu card is very varied (was difficult to choose! , the food was very good, and the service was excellent. Our son ordered something he did not like and they offered to change it...without any charge! As europeans, we felt it was strange/pity not to have Colombian beers in the menu. Just a small negative point is that I did not like so much the decor , it felt more like a bar than a restaurant, lacked a bit of charm. But we definitely recommend this place. Closed on mondays.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant as it was a block away, and we loved it so much we returned every night during our stay!! They have something on the menu called a “pita” that was not what I was expecting but DELICIOUS: it’s like a...large empanada, filled with hot meat and delicious spices. If you like spicy food order it “fuerte.” They accept credit cards here, and have a pleasant staff.

This place had a decent rating on the city hence I decided to go have a lot Menu is quite diverse with a selection of non Colombian cuisines too. I ordered the casaba pizza and a shrimp salad. The shrimp salad could have been better...done. They made it with carrots as a theme. The shrimp element was lost somewhere.

It is a cozy and central restaurant. They sell German beer and different foods to the typical of the region. I think it is a bit expensive for the place where it is located and the service was good but not excellent. Anyway it is...a good option if you want to eat other things that are not typical of the Amazon.

We ate here before and after our jungle tour. The first time was so good that we decided to go back to this place after our tour (also because Leticia has not to offer that many 'more- than-local-cuisine' restaurants).
