El Rey Del Pollo

El rey del pollo is a take away rotisserie joint. They advertise that their chicken is high quality, fed with grain only. that must be true because it was different and delicious. The meat was not falling of the bone, it was tasteful and not dry but very juicy. They cooked it with half a lemon inside which was a nice addition. They also serve sausages (very good) and fried calamari (unremarkable). The price for a whole chicken is 9.5 euro which seemed a steal but you can also order half of it.

We were staying at the Monterrey Hotel, and tired of the buffet by the second day. This was local and looked good, so went along. Service and the prices were good. The closest four tables were all locals and were all eating the Langoustine Paella, which must be special. We had tapas, and all were fairly salty, but it was a good local dinner.

Se hace llamar rey del pollo y no vende coca. No nos quedo otra que comernos el pollo, estaba muy rico
