El Nautic - Reservar uma mesa

El Nautic is the newest restaurant in town so everyone wants to go, but of all out friends the general reaction has been so-so. We booked a table a few days in advance. We asked for a table on the terrace but they said these were all taken, which was a good thing in the end because at least the inside is nicely air conditioned. All of the waiters/waitresses were young and inexperienced. The main table waiter was a bit too eager, watching over our shoulder as we are and wanting to take our plates before we were finished. We think this was because our mains were waiting on another table, rather than in the kitchen as per normal. We ordered some starters and main courses. We asked the waiter what came with the steak, and he told us potato with truffles, which would have been fine, but it came with some cold cauliflower. We complained to the waiter who said that he didn't know they had changed it, even though this should be his job. He said ok and took the plate away. 30 minutes later some fried potatoes arrived which was better, but there was no communication. The food was average, not any better than other restaurants nearby. The pudding was much better. The location and restaurant itself is good, but it's a shame about the service and food. As the restaurant is new hopefully it can improve.

I enjoyed my meal overall. The views were great. The staff were helpful. Would happily return. My other half mostly enjoyed her meal. She like her salad, vegetables, the skin of the fish. She thought the fish could have done with more seasoning. I had meat. It was tasty! The one with chimchurri.

We have eaten several times at the Nautic. Food is always delicious, and service is quite good. Great views over the port. If any negative, music could be played at a slightly lower volume. We’ll be back again!

Excellent location we went there with friends for informal lunch. They provide a nice service and very testing food . Definitely a nice place to go.

They just reopened with a new group Cal Blay and it is really good . Fantastic ambiance and food is delicious. Service was also very attentive
