OK we don't really have big appetite so why did we have the Menu del dia each? Should have had one between us. Typical Spanish bar/restaurant, just about understood what was on offer (pasta or lentils, pork chop or calamari). We both had the pasta and squid. I have to say we could have both stopped at the pasta. It was a lovely plateful and very tasty. When the squid came it was another huge portion with potatoes in a spicy sauce nice but too much. Dessert was a choice of rice pudding or ice cream (too full to tackle the rice so it had to be ice cream). I also had a coffee, which was excellent. I have to say the value of the menu del dia was excellent if you have large appetites or want to share one. The prices of the remainder of the menu I'm not so sure. I'm sure we will be back to try though, just for a couple of racions. Cash only? I don't know why there are two listings for this restaurant.
Passed this restaurante many times on our trips to the island and promised a visit until now. What an experience a typical Spanish restaurante full of locals enjoying the day and good fortune they all share living on Fuerteventura. The variety of the menu was exciting and typical Canarian . To add to the fun the only language spoken was Spanish but all understood by both parties and an enjoyable experience was had . The potions were large and tasty and very reasonably priced would recommend 100 and go hungry ..enjoy
Best option if You stay one month or just for weekend. For 8 EUR (Menu of the day till 4pm) You will receive full dinner with drink, coffe and desert. We have calculated that same amount will cost us 30 EUR per person in any tourist area of Fuerteventura. We loved the food especialy goat (cabra) and all fish dishies. Place full of local which realy know what is a good restaurant. Nice service. Strongly recommend. We miss this place...
