El Cortez Mexican

The Tamarindo margaritas with a tajin rim are soo good! And their chips and spicy salsa are such a sweet detail, they also have mild salsa for those who don't do spicy. But if you want to go big on the appetizers, their guacamole or Molly's bean's are delicious. My favorite entree is a tie between the chicken quesadilla and the Discovery Burrito with Chile Verde. The chicken quesadilla is unlike any chicken quesadilla I've tried before because the chicken is in a sauce that is not spicy but soo juicy and the guacamole and sour cream that come with it just hit the spot. The Discovery Burrito comes with any meat but my favorite is the Chile Verde because I love Chile Verde. It also come with a side of guacamole and sour cream. It's drenched in green Chile sauce and a lot bigger than the regular burrito, I never finish it but I love that I can take it to go and not have to cook afterwards. The Cortez Appetizer Platter is great if you've never gone before and want to try a little bit of everything for next time. The desserts are the finishing touch it's always hard to choose between their churros, fried ice cream and flan. We like to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream with the churros, the warm churros with the cold ice cream are the perfect balance.

My girlfriend turned me onto this place. incredible mexican food. Is nice stiff drinks. What else can you ask for in a restaurant.?
