Eis Cafe Venezia

We called an afternoon coffee and were tried by the waffle menu. If we put our diet aside, we've ever ordered a waffle. What a nice surprise when they came. Each one of us has not one waffle, but two big ones with blows that were generous and tasty. The two Latte Macchiato coffees we ordered were big, hot and one of the best coffees we had in Germany. We saw a number of ice dishes delivered at nearby tables and they looked really nice. The price-performance ratio was excellent and we returned a second time for coffee. If we had been in Konigswinter for longer, coffee and waffles could have become a daily ritual here. The café is comfortable, immaculately clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to help with the menu. This is one of those places that stay in your mind like somewhere to see the next time you are in the area again.

We wandered around the back streets of Königswinter a sunny Saturday afternoon and the 3 years old in tow insisted on stopping for an ice cream. There was a table free on the pavement outside the Venezia ice cream, which we seized. Service was quite fast and friendly, despite a number of customers who stop for their co-night coffee and ice creams. I had a big ice-chocolate milk-shake potion that was great. The others had spaghetti ice cream and a simple cornette for the little one. Staff seemed to be quite at their feet – they probably didn't expect so many people at such an unseasonally warm, sunny afternoon in mid February.

Le glacier est très bien situé dans la rue principale ! Un grand choix de coupes de glace en tout genre à des prix vraiment très démocratiques. Un passage obligé lors d'un séjour à Königswinter.

Beautiful selection of beautiful ice creams and secco as well as at reasonable prices. Relaxing and friendly. Excellent location with views of the Rhine
