were with a group there that was eating was top, there you can't say anything....aaaaber....it was for the whole group to finish a coffee...and paid.drinks - not included - were then billed. our table was the last. We didn't get coffee anymore. this have eir installed in the calculation. the service answered us, we can still get it....Since almost all of the group were already out of the local, we have suggested to settle it against the drinks. that didn't do that. instead we have paid our 2 water with 11 francs .. is water in the Swiss sooo expensive? or have we paid the cola of the friend who also paid them for themselves??Lt. cup-beleg on the served cant were calculated for the table just 11 franken for 3 drinks....Well, despite good eating, there is nothing to go there.

I'm begging that for a couple and more years I almost totally eliminated meat from my diet, except for some exceptions. One of these was on this occasion because it was a working dinner and I didn't want to create too many problems. I ordered a fillet and had the pleasure of having a simple dish, but exquisite of an extreme softness and cooked at the right point. the most beautiful view of the alpstein. from the outside terrace an imperial view over the appenzellerland is possible. the innkeepers are accommodating and take time also to oversteep the menu written in appenzeller dialect. a must also learn for outside to understand and love the appenzellrian.

Great place for families, good food, animals and trampolin for the kids, great view all around - down to Appenzell or up to Hohen Kasten, Ebenalp, Säntis. If hike down from Hohen Kasten to Brülisau stop at the Restaurant Eggli.

All-round view is super: high box, säntis, appenzell, rheintal. eating was good, especially good burger. service was io, a little overwhelmed with the amount of guests.
