Effie's - Reservar uma mesa

We hadn't been to Effie's in probably 20 years. They are celebrating their 27th year and when I walked by this week I saw a sign for a 3 course Anniversary special for $25 pp. They are a BYOB so that is a bonus. The deal gave you soup or a small Greek Salad plus one of 3 entrees. three vegetarian plus gyro platter or boneless chick with garlic and red peppers. Plus a small slice of Baklava for dessert. Only good Monday Tuesday and Wednesday . It was pretty busy. The food was very good and portions good too. I'm glad I saw the sign as I walked past BTW most entrees including the ones we got are normally $22. so this was good value

Everything about Effie's was great! Effie is an amazing Chef and person. She takes the time out to stop by tables and talk to her guests to see how we are doing and if we are enjoying her dishes. The homemade Baklava was supppperrrr yummy , as was the Spanikopita. Loved the mussels with Feta too and the fried cheese and zucchini slices. The food was delish all around . Took a friend there for her first time. It's a BYOB. We loved the atmosphere in the garden in the back yard. The server was very attentive too. I definitely will be back there again with family and friends. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Great Greek institution, rustic surroundings, choice of 3 very different dining rooms, beautiful part of the city, same owners all this time. Effie will say hello to you if you don’t say something first. I remember when Effie’s parents started her namesake restaurant. The whole family was wonderful and Effie carries on the tradition.

Food and service were excellent! I ordered the mousaka and my husband ordered braised lamb. They were both delicious, soft and very tasty. Baklava was delicious, not too sweet. We will come here again!
