Eden Palace au Lac

We visited the restaurant of the Eden Palace when visiting Montreux. The place is very close to the sea, which you can see when sitting outside. The food quality was very good, especially the risottos. The service was helpful and attentionate. They peak fluently different...languages. I would recommend this place, but note that Montreux is per se not a place where you'll find low prices

This is a very tired and old hotel which has seen better days room needed maintenance drastically toilet seat on the toilet the door to the balcony with a mess they do not hire enough people to clean the rooms in a timely manner so...the lobby is full of people waiting for rooms the only thing it has going for it is its great location

I stopped in for lunch after a visit to the Queen Museum. I thought the food was fine but somewhat bland. The vegetable soup was good but the apricot risotto was very average although the concept was brilliant. Although I was there as a solo,...I was treasured politely which is not always the case. The view is so pretty!

Found this when walking along the lakeside. Sat outside for beer, then inside for food. I had club sandwich, which was good, and tasty. Service was good. Total bill for beer, sandwich with fries and a bottle of water was just over so not...particularly cheap, but by present day Swiss prices, not surprising.

The location is great. The service sucked. The food was OK. And they waited till the end of the meal to let us know that they only took debit cards
