This little restaurant is in the pedestrianised zone not far from the church in the centre of Jargeau. It offers traditional homestyle cooking in a quaint brasserie styled bar/restaurant. They have various menus from 10€50 to 17€00 plus an "a la carte choice" for salads (vegetarian salad available) and grilled meats. Service was very good, the meal was extremely tasty, the chef happily adapted the 13€00 menu (drink and coffee included) to a vegetarian version without compromising quality or quantity, good coffee afterwards. Although there were plenty of diners, the noise level was just right, not too loud, not overbearing. There is a little terrace outside to either eat in summer or sit out with a coffee. Nice day out on a Wednesday, visit the restaurant for lunch then the market that starts around 13h30 - toilets situated just beside the covered market square. Plenty of free parking in Jargeau, the "Grand Rue" has some interesting independent shops if you are looking for something that is a little different.
