We pre booked the 7 course tasting menu and what an experience it was. We had a dedicated server who showed us to our private dining room, which was beautifully dressed, she explained how the evening would progress, and how it progressed, each course perfectly described, and wonderfully presented, plus extra courses served by the Chef, Craig, who explained one course and with theatre smoked it at the table, , then served a wonderful glass of his flavoured gin. Every course was a perfect size to savour and enjoy, without over filling you, but by the end of the evening 4 .5 hours later sipping the fine coffee and nibbling the hand made petit fours , all were amply fed, The ambiance, food standards, quality and service, equals Michelin star standards . This place is a shining gem of culinary delight, well hidden in the Aberdeenshire countryside, defiantly a destination well worth seeking out and enjoying . Book , anticipate and enjoy. As we did.

A fantastic experience start to finish. Staff (every one of them) have such passion and desire to please from the minute you walk in. A beautiful place which is a pleasure to sit in. Food was superb, every course a delight. Food and plates were piping hot. Cocktails full of flavour and well made. Literally nothing negative to say about the place. We will return soon!!!

Outstanding, the whole experience from start to finishing is like best medicine you can get,especially on these cold winter nights. . When you leave at the end of the evening, you leave feeling happy and satisfied. This fine dining experience is to the highest of standards. We are truly blessed to have this restaurant on our doorstep
