Drovers Inn - Reservar uma mesa

I'd been looking forward to a meal out at the Drovers for quite some time as I had heard great things about it. I was there with other people, of whom had lovely meals. I, however, had the beefburger which was a thick, solid, tough, unyielding lump of cooked mince. It didn't seem to be flavoured with anything but maybe I have an unsophisticated palate. It was over-cooked I think It might just have been an off-day for the chef. It wouldn't put me off going there again. The staff were lovely as was the restaurant itself and the gardens. As I said, the other people in my group loved their meals.

Dishe (brie croquette, vegan risotto) I tried were good but not amazing however, my husband found each item (wood pigeon, venison, apple trifle) he ordered as perfect and gave his meal he couldn't fault anything. Each mouthful was flavorful and unique. My dessert of winter Berry cheesecake was delicious

Power cut on our first visit meant we could not eat but staff arranged for us to eat at a partner restaurant. Went back the next day and had an excellent meal. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Well recommended.

Had such a lovely Sunday lunch sat out in the garden. The food was very good and so well presented. Unusual in its selection and parings. Service was good without being exceptional.

Food and selection was very good. They appear very keen on you drinking from the second you arrive! Restaurant is very nice and the food exceptional. Thoroughly recommended.
