I saw this review on check Please and all 3 guests raved over the place. First there are huge TV screens over the walls in the front dining room. The decor is interesting and the TV screens ruin the atmosphere. I would never have been there if I knew about the TV screens. Our waiter spoke English with a heavy accent and whenever we asked him a question, he had an older gentleman speaking to us. The order in which the food was served was bizarre. We ordered squab, grilled pig slices and Chinese broccoli. They brought a fairly large plate of broccoli and nothing else. After 10 minutes, the older man asked if we wanted rice we did. The other two dishes were brought later and the only dish we had was a small bread plate. The air conditioning went full and so the food was immediately cold. The pan tables are separated from the regular menu tables, but next to each other. The prices for the pan elements start at $70, which was not mentioned at Check Please. I think she said the meal was $30. Our bill for two was much higher because my companion had a flight from Sake. My nephew visited a week of Charlotte and I chose this because of the Raving reviews on check. What a great disappointment. There are so many other Asian restaurants that would have provided better food, service and atmosphere. I'll think twice before I try another restaurant they recommend!
