Double Barrel Taphouse

The staff is what makes this bar great. Jazz, cali, bronson, Adri and Dre make this a destination i choose for most any evening out. More so if i know Dre is in the kitchen, when he is back preparing meals for some reason they always taste just that much better and he makes you feel safe while you are there. Always looking out for the customers and staff. Adri is the MAIN reason myself and my co workers choose to make this our weekly watering hole. She makes us feel like family and she creates an atmosphere that you feel safe and comfortable being in. She remembers every new co worker we bring in by name and knows all of our orders by heart, even when we may have missed a few weeks. Double Barrel is the first name out of my mouth when talking to family or friends, or when we just want to finish off a night out. The driving force for that again is Adri and Dre and that i can trust when sending the people i care about they will be taken care of and given exceptional service. This is to take nothing away from Jazz, Cali, or Bronson cause they all do amazing jobs also. Keep Dre cookin, cause that man elivates your food!!!!

This is my go to bar. The beer selection is spectacular compared to most small bars in Vancouver. The food is tasty and fairly priced and the staff is friendly. Kenzie is by far the best! For all those who complain about staff, cost, and wait time for food, get real... inflation has made everything crazy from food to staffing, and most people don't want to work period. Be thankful for a great bar that has fantastic staff, great attitude, and that is not flooded with low life's.

Stopped by for the first time a few days ago during happy hour. The overall experience wasn't great. The bartender was short with us and rude. The food took forever to come out, and after I paid my tab, I realized that our sandwiches were $3 more than the menu stated and we were charged full price on all of our IPAs during happy hour. We have no intentions of coming back after this experience.

The food here is fantastic...and the beer selection is good. Even the cocktails are very good. I recommend this place to everyone.
