Excellent food, am knocking off half a point for the dessert though, not that I expected the Payasam to be any good, but that it would have blown my mind even further if it was! Restaurant is unassuming, tucked away off Brick Lane (where Indian food goes to die), it's spotless, and inviting. The menu is LONG, and you kind of have to search around for what you want. Had a selection of dosas, a rather oniony lamb fry, and a deliciously creamy fish curry. Excellent suggestion from the waiter to get the aapams with the lamb. If you are ravenous and in the mood for authentic curry then Brick Lane can be both a blessing and a curse. The sheer number of places laying claim to being the best in London, Britain and the World is just insane. If that’s not enough there are always the touts who try beckoning you in with promises of freebies and high quality food – try and guess which one you’re more likely to get.We were based at the Hub by Premier Inn hotel right in the middle of Brick Lane so naturally dinner on the saturday evening was going to involve Indian food. Outstanding cans are hard to find, but we've got it! Just Brick Lane in a small place where room is limited but dosas are great! The interior is not overly individual, rather the food is served beforehand. Our dosas were absolutely fresh, flavorful if you go for the masala and served with a choice of dips from mild to hot. All the waiters are very friendly and will talk you through the menu if you wish. Vegetarians will find a fantastic range of curries to choose from and all dishes throughout the menu are good value. We will definitely be back for more.

I visited Dosa World during a recent visit to London. As a vegetarian, I'm having a hard time finding food when Dosa World came to my rescue. A tiny cafe with an amazing feel Staff are very polite, helpful and recommend items to try on request. They have a great variety of dosas both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, something we don't get in India. Try this restaurant if you are looking for hot food in Videsh! cheers

Undoubtedly the best place to enjoy South Indian food. Sambar determines the quality of each place and this one is there in terms of authentic tastes and the right aromas. Nestled amidst busy Brick Lane, its easy to miss. If you are around London and looking for South Indian or Indian food in general go here and you won't be sorry.
