Dorking Brassiere

So, a poppadum, starter, main, rice snd bread and a beer has now reached £50 a head. That’s fine if the quality is good. I’m afraid here it’s not. Starters were bland apart from chicken momo which was good. Mains disappointed. Had to search for chicken pieces in the Kashmiri chicken, the lamb I suspect was mutton but might as well have been shoe leather it was so tough and chicken tikka masala was, well, red! This seem so to be the only eat in curry house in Dorking now and obviously has its fans, but on this occasion, it missed the mark for us.

This is a beautiful restaurant, very busy and lively on weekends. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and polite. The menu includes all allergens in any dish, so it is obvious what is and is not suitable for vegans. The food is Fab. Very recommended.

Excellent food, quality service. Really enjoyed the menu (interesting daily specials) I've been coming here for years, and they never dissapoint
