Donde Siempre - Reservar uma mesa

I was looking for somewhere to enjoy a couple of tapas as a light dinner, and this place was quite busy, with lots of locals at the bar. They had an interesting small selection of wines (a number of them from Zaragoza province) and professional service. I tried the house special tapa (breaded fried eggplant with a romanescu sauce) that was very tasty, albeit a little over fried, and a stack of fresh mushrooms with a thin slice of Iberian ham on a chunk of bread, which they grilled fresh for me and was also very good.

Ignore the size or that the table is out on a narrow street, that is fairly normal in this area of Zaragoza. The fact is, the quality of the food is absolute superb and the service and value for money was excellent also. I shall definitely return to this lovely city (we were just passing through, with a stop-over, before heading to Bilbao for the ferry). I didn't know what to expect, but certainly worth another visit and I shall definitely make a point of returning to Taberna Donde Siempre !

and the smiles on the people going in the space, and then the folks at the tables, those smiles told me there was good something here. And there was, a big menu, so many choices, and ask your server to get the best meal. Beers, wines, so good. And the night air, and the squid, and the lamb... Enjoy!

Service was fast and very friendly. We visited the Rest on 2019 and wanted to go again last week. The fried eggplant is very delicious as it was before Owners Raul and Maria are very dedicated and attentive with us.

Place was great. Cook busting out tapas plus in a small grill area at the end of the bar. Waiters working just as hard. All friendly. And only topped by the taste.
