Diogenis - Reservar uma mesa

This restaurant was recommended in a local guide and although a good 20 minutes or so from the Cathedral and main attractions, this promised to be something to look forward to. On entering the restaurant it was quite busy , but we were shown to a table. However, half an hour went by and we had not even been offered drinks let alone being asked what our food order was. There was a rather large party next to us- and only two people serving the whole restaurant. Eventually both drinks and food orders were taken, personally I thought the food was okay. I ordered a Greek salad which basically was nothing special and lacked the traditional dressing of olive oil etc. the moussaka for main was okay. The staff were friendly but I felt that they should have had more staff on especially as it was a Saturday night.

We arrived early doors and got seated outside as it was a warm evening. The waiter was friendly and helpful although no English was spoken. The food was excellent, it arrived quickly too. Couldn't fault it at all. The restaurant is tucked away from the maddening crowds on a square where people milled about.

One of the nest Greek food restaurant in cologne. We tried several places and this was by far the best in Germany. The food, service and the ambiance was very good. We four friends enjoyed the food very much.

Neighborhood stronghold preparing average Greek food (grilled meat and fish, mostly) to a nondescript clientele. The staff is nice and so is their terrace.

I had a moussaka, it was delicious, and came with an excellent tsatsiki. Very nice atmosphere, good & friendly service.
