Dicastro's Brick Oven

the owners wanted an unstoppable experience and they succeeded. they didn't care if it was edible. I had a hair on my teller that I pulled out as soon as the server put it down and she said: oh. .. the oven pizza was soggy, they needed two hands to eat it. I ordered the aubergineparm. the aubergine was so tender as if it had been made hours ago, and the pasta was in a saucy suppe. the lobster mac was meh. I ordered a side salad containing 4 chopped tomato pieces. when my bf ordered a one by the side, he asked if he stopped and the server said safe. has he got a garden salad with caesar dressing? she did not check us back after the delivery of our food, but brought us to check out 20 minutes of cartons that we had not yet asked. they asked if we wanted to dessert, but when they gave us a box, we said no. the check includes a fee of $3 (or whatever if they pay with the card. if my bf would leave his own review, it would simply say “this place belongs to kitchen night rooms”. but again, if they only want an expensive Instagram post, this is the place to be!

a pizza ordered, half cheese half pfefferoni, for the trip. son bought pizza and brought to home. open the pizza once after home to find a charred pizza, not burned, but charred. the crust was black and broken when it was touched. the floor was also black. the whole tasted like an ashtray. easy experience, not recommended.

This was most of the parties first time there. The food was outstanding. The service was okay. They were very busy. The place was very clean and very busy. We ended our meal with a couple different desserts and every one of them was delicious.

I really enjoyed myself at this restaurant. The restaurant had a very nice family vibe, and the decor was perfect. The service was very excellent also. The food was good and the wine was excellent. I will definitely be back

Antipasta and Lasagne were outstanding.. warm bread made the meal.. paired w/ a local Utica Club…outside patio dining was very dog friendly…. Excellent service… put it on your list when in Rome
