Diablo's Southwest Grill

This place has terrible management apparently. I used to love coming to diablos in Athens (which apparently closed down) but this place has ridiculous corporate micromanagement. First off nothing is fresh anymore. I always get the same thing, double chicken bowl with all of the cold items (lettuce, cheese, onions, etc) on the side so they don 't get soggy on the way home. Apparently because they 're in separate containers even though it 's all for the same bowl, they were going to charge me another $10 for a veggie bowl . I won 't be back, rather give my money to chipotle, who doesn 't have absurd rules like this. Not to mention the lettuce was brown and the customer service was terrible. No wonder the Athens store went out of business.

Diablos wasn't our first choice to eat this evening but we actually enjoyed it. The ingredients looked a bit sketchy and not fresh but they tasted fine. The employees were nice even though we got there about a half hour before closing. I will be visiting again in the future.My wife got the chicken bowl and I got the chicken burrito. It was lots of food.

I have been eating at diablos for a couple of years now. It used to be good but the overall level of service has gone downhill tremendously. Employees seem bothered by you being there, and are generally just unpleasant. Hopefully this gets fixed before they decline any more.

This was my first time trying this place and it was really good. I was here visiting from out of town and my daughter has been telling me about it.

Food is good if you eat it like once every few months. You realize exactly how bland it is when you eat there a few times in a month.
