Lindau is a fantastic town with great views over Lake Constance and lovely architecture throughout the old streets of the island. Lovely cafe's down by the harbour great place to drink beer/eat ice cream and watch the sunset. There are some fantastic, individual shops... no chains here. Plenty of ferries out onto the Lake too so a great location for visiting other towns.

We visited Lindau on a warm summer evening, strolling around its quiet streets, having cocktails outside one cafe, a lovely dinner outdoors in a Yugoslav restaurant, and then back to the cafe for coffee and home-made cakes. The island is tranquil and beautiful, far nicer...than where we had been staying, so our only regret is that we didn't stay here.

Nestled into Lake Constance this is an old fashioned 18th century walled town, now given over to restaurants, hotels and shopping. It is small and lively and a great place for strolling (no cars) and people watching. Beautiful views of Lake Constance. Close to Bregenz...and on a great cycle route around the Lake.

excellent quality Traditional Greek food. We have visited this place couple of years ago and can say it DOES worth the visit. Nice, clean, comfy with excellent hosts and large playground (for the young ones) Keep up the good work Christos !

Delicious dinner and very nice cozy atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and we had a wonderful evening.
