De L' Ailly - Reservar uma mesa

This is a lovely traditional French Restaurant. Make sure you book first as it’s a small restaurant. We went for the set menus you would expect for the portions would be slightly smaller but they are not. House platter to start with and a Terrine of rabbit both great. Bottle of Single domaine Sancerre was brillant and only 27 euros. Then a lovely calvados sorbet, main course was a veal head with a mustard sauce and butcher s steak with peppercorn sauce(steak was huge) . Then cheese came which was far too cold. Filo basket with caramel apple and a soufflé grand marnier could have been a but stronger with grand marnier. Then a lovely coffe and all for just under 90 euros. Madame serves on her own and is brillant. Traditional French food at its best and worth every penny and can see why they are number one.

It was the last evening of a spring break and we chose not to travel far. How lucky we were. Excellent food at very fair prices half the prices you would expect to pay. Nothing fancy or over the top. A truly French Restaurant for the French certainly worthy of further visits when we return to the Special Fenetres Sur Mer (hopefully in August 2017). Very well done.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here recently. There are 2 set menus, €21 €31 which both offer excellent quality and value, as well as a Carte. The portions are generous and the food is beautifully prepared and cooked. The wine list is good and not overly expensive. Service is very friendly. Will definitely be back!

Just a short 600 meter walk from our B&B La Fenêtre sur mer, we could not believe the wonderful dinner that we enjoyed for an affordable price. Our only regrets was that we only had one meal at this wonderful restaurant. Bon appétit!!

Very nice local French restaurant. We can recommend the four course menu at EUR 22 for very good value for money (oysters recommended as starter see photo).
