Dark Horse Coffee Roasters

Sorry, but nothing more than 3 stars. This was the second location of Dark Horse that we tried. The first place was inconsistent so I gave it 4 stars as one of the lattes I ordered was pretty bad and one was good. Thought that, since this location had a higher rating, it would be better. WRONG. They’d be better off with a fully automatic Nespresso. I couldn’t taste either one of the syrups, both lattes were extremely hot and what hardly tasted like coffee, tasted burnt. So disappointed.

Get there early to get the baked goods. Got the salted maple coffee hot and it was good adult coffee. If you don't want a bunch of whipped cream and sprinkles and then feel guilty about killing the earth, then this is the place. They probably have whipped cream but this is mature coffee in my opinion ?. Good rich flavor and not too sweet.

Favorite coffee in San Diego. I always get a bag odd harmonics blend. It’s soo good on pour over. The cold brew is pretty good. It’s definitely strong. My favorite location is golden hill because there is seating and you can get a coffee in “for here” cups.

Great little coffee shop. You can find Dark Horse in The Chula Vista Village also. This is the original very nice great cup of joeFood: 5/5

The coffee is amazing! This is not a place to go and sit with friends and have coffee. It's a grab and go.Service: 4/5
