Dabda Wine And Tapas

Initial impressions are good. Pleasant, modern decor, friendly staff. The downside is that the food wasn't good enough. My starter was very short on squid and bulked up by sauce, peas and lettuce. Very unlike the picture at the top of this section. My pork main was OK, but nothing special it came with some rather dull mash and no vegetables. My wife's fish skewers were short on fish. I can only guess that they are boosting margins by skimping on expensive ingredients. A pity and not good enough for a restaurant at the higher end of local price points.

Ate at Dabda last eve..mon 4th March 19. A fabulous meal of tapas. Service was excellent. Friendly, unobtrusive and efficient. Very good menu and advice from the young lady front of house. We were not crammed in so no feeling if over crowding. I would imagine the there is a need to book during busy periods. We can whole heartedly recommend Dabda. interesting to Google the name)

We read reviews on restaurant and decided to go.. Took 30 minutes to get starters and then we waited over an hour for our msins. Restaurant was not even that busy. The two staff waiting in the restaurant were plesant but were very bisy. Food was lovely but not worth the wait. Safe ti say won't be eating here again.

Poor service by the waitress. Completely unprepared to compromise with dietary requirements. Since the quality of the food was good the waitress was completely rude. I will not be spending money in this restaurant again and would whole heartedly discourage anyone from booking a table at this venue.

Been coming here for 35 years been here every visit this time it was awful service was appalling waiting for 2 hours ..never had to book before but on both occasions this time waitress insisted fully booked , when we visit again I would avoid .
