Da Capo Ristorante Pizzeria

We went there after reading many excellent reviews, and let'sjust say it didnt live up to them... For starters : the carpacio was rather plain, they tried masking it with olive oil and citrus, the minestrone was actualy pretty good, and the mixed starters plate...was also good but not excellent. We tried the pasta fresca del Chef, witch was actually more than ok, the Pasta itself was fresh and home made, it tasted rather good too. On the other hand the Saltimbocca was like a rather flimbsy peace of pork with tons of sauce and Parma ham to mask it, and the whole thing tasted excessively like sage, combined with some completely plain french fries, not impressive. the dessert was ok, but i guess you can't realy go wrong with spagetti ice, can you? Per total, consodering it wasnt at all expensive, not the worst choice you could make, and if you do go there dont go for the saltimbocca. or the carpacio.

Dropped in here for evening meal without a booking. Warm welcome and given a table of our choice. Served by Ijla who was most attentive and friendly. I had veal with Gorgonzola cheese sauce which was delicious, and my wife had rump steak which she...thought was very good. Both meals were reasonably priced. Music a little too loud..... However, everything else was fine. Would certainly recommend.

We stopped here for lunch as we had not had pizza for a while. The pizza was good, but not fantastic, and quite large. Service was slow but we were in no rush so it was not a problem. It was nice sitting on the...patio and people watching while we ate.

Amazingly authentic, delicious pasta. Pizza was too soggy. Service was intense; A bustling, busy environment for 3 waiters who kept up with speed and efficiency. No time to really smile nor stop and chat. Come for the food! Go for pastas!

I just love Italian food.so we Visited this reStaurant in evening . It was quit full bt even thn the waiter was very helpful and very friendly. Very yummy food and the money you spend here is just worth it ❤️
