The atmosphere in the pub was really good, we was very impressed with the social distancing and sanitisers service were in all the right areas. My son and I ordered calamari for starter and steak and ale pie, both dishes were delicious. My husband ordered...prawn cocktail and Sunday roast, the beef was so tender he loved both dishes too. The manager that served us was polite and friendly she made sure she looked after my husband as he forgot to say about he’s nut allergy. All staff were professional and working very hard with the christening and people sitting outside and inside the pub. Very good place to go we recommend anyone that reads this review to go to this pub/restaurant. We give this place a star if we could, well done guys for your hard work and making the atmosphere so relaxed and lovely for all you’re customers thank you. One point I must add the toilets were immaculate

Meal up to great standard, very impressed with the social distancing in place=, plenty of sanatiser and place is very clean. Menu although reduced gave plenty of choice for all and cooked to a high standard. Service was great and all staff very friendly. First...meal out since lockdown and felt very safe

Prebooked and visited midweek for lunch. Food good and service excellent with friendly staff, who work so hard having to take outside orders ,collecting from inside and back to the tables. Will definitely return.

Lovely friendly professional staff,my partner and I eat here regularly and really enjoy the food and ambience of the place . Harrison, saki and Pam stand out as they are easy to approach if you have any queries.

If you fancey a nice cold pint in Chesunt, then my choice of a lovely pub is the Crocodile. Great beer garden and wide range of beer and food. I personally like the River Town Pale Ale.
