"Always super friendly service, and fresh delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Place is on the smaller side, but we've never had to wait. Parking situation sucks if you're with a handicapped person."

Went here with the family and a friend a few weeks ago. We were on the hunt for grits and decided to try this place out for the first time. Part of our wait was outside in the rain as the waiting area was packed but thankfully we had umbrellas! Our son ordered the mac cheese and also an order of fries. The mac cheese was basically cheese soup with large pasta shells. I think he could only handle about 2 bites on its own but then used it to dip his fries in. Those fries though.... giant portion and cooked salted to perfection. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and remained that way the entire time we worked on them no grease.I had the banana pudding pancakes a huge portion again. I did expect these to be flavored like banana pudding instead of regular pancakes with pudding slathered between them. Nonetheless they were good and I could not even eat half.My wife had the grilled cheese onion rings and we also had a belgian waffle for the table. She enjoyed the sandwich but the onion rings were colossal. Waffle was standard fare.My friend ordered the steak and eggs and only noted that the egg whites did not taste fresh and were like the ones you get from a carton.Oh and those grits we were after? We never got them. : The place was packed and staff seemed flustered. Once we got our food, we didn't get checked on, no coffee refills, ketchup bottle replacement, etc. Overall, this is the place you want to be if you are after Sunday brunch but your NFL teams plays at 4. Because you're definitely getting a nap after their pancakes, waffles and fries with their large portion sizes!

One of my favorite things to do with my daughters is to find new family-friendly brunch/breakfast spots to try. Today it was Cranford Station House. AMAZING! the food was divine! It came out quickly, it was hot, fresh and delicious. Not to mention the portion sizes were great for the price. My girls enjoyed their meals and all of the friendly “seat neighbors” we encountered. Our server was very sweet and attentive! A must visit! We will be back with the whole family.Parking: Cranford public parking lot is about a block away for quick parking and an easy walk over.

This is my favorite breakfast restaurant. Service is quick and efficient and there is a large selection. Prices are a little on the high side but very large portions. The home fries were done nice and crisp. My wife had an omelette with french fries. I had eggs Benedict with three eggs. Both were excellent. It might be a little bit of a wait if you get there during the busy time in the morning, but it moves quickly. I the waitress was attentive and pleasant.

Kind of a hip vibe now (certainly next-gen prices). Big portions, warm plates, and attentive service. At one time this spot was a barren open space with just exterior walls. They do need a ramp for wheelchair/walker access though, to really be cool for all the right reasons.Wheelchair accessibility: None that I could see. And I am somewhat surprised the town gave them a C of O after recent renovations. There's room for a ramp.
