Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Restaurant

The food here was the worst I have ever had at Cracker Barrel. My daughter had the vegetable plate and she said nothing had any flavor. I had the 3 eggs with beef tips. I ordered my eggs medium. This means the whites are done and the yolk is runny. One egg was good, one the yolk was half runny and the third was totally cooked. It came with biscuits and gravy. The gravy was in a small bowl in the basket with the rolls. How are you supposed to eat those? Dip them in the gravy, I don't think so. Hashbrown casserole was dry. I sent the dry egg back and it took 20 mins to get it replaced. The beef tips were over seasoned and very dry. The grits were really good. We were there for almost 1 1/2 hours, which really delayed our trip. The replaced eggs were great and the manager did not charge me for my meal. We will not be stopping there again.

Typical cracker barrel. The food was terrific the wait staff was marvelous. The service was great. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The food was served quickly and was nice and warm.

We came in late, Matthew was our server. He never once rushed us out. He was so pleasant. The food and the service was GREAT!!
