Costa Coffee - Reservar uma mesa

Myself and two friends decided to pop in for a quick take away coffee from the new Christmas menu, of which we were all looking forward to. When we arrived, not all the drink choices were displayed on the menu, so it was difficult to...tell if they actually had the one we were hoping for. As we ordered, we were rushed through our order, putting us under great pressure to choose a drink. whilst waiting for our drinks we were rushed to the other end of the counter, where we were stared up and down by people and received comments on our chosen drinks! To begin with, they got our order wrong and gave out the wrong coffee, however i decided not to say anything and keep the coffee. when my friend asked for her drink they swore at each other as it was apparently a lot of hassle to make a cold drink instead of a hot one! Once we had all FINALLY received our drinks, they went to hand us another, to which we declined and said we had all of ours, where they responded with your loss if you have the wrong drink and slammed it on the counter. I understand that the place was suddenly busy, but the service we received in a short period of time was disgusting. As for the coffee, it was bland and didn't even taste of coffee as it was too over done with sugar and the amount of cream on top made it cold. I will not be purchasing my coffee from here for a while!

I’m not a Costa type of person but while visiting friend in diss we decided to pop in. It was extremely busy but the queue was going down quick! We were served on the till by a lovely welsh lady who recommended the lemon tart...and muffin which was delicious!! Our coffees were made by a lovely young man with long hair and he and the welsh lady had a good rapport between them. After we had sat down the welsh lady was clearing and cleaning tables and boy can she move!!! Even though she was really busy she took the time to check that our purchases were ok and that we were happy and if we needed anything just ask! I’ve been in other Costa before but the Staff in this branch are so lovely and helpful and I’ll definitely be visiting again! Can’t speak highly enough of the amazing welsh lady!!

Last time we dropped in, our jaws did likewise! The coffee (was it really coffee was insipid, tasted like warm milk that had been shown a jar of instant. We also made the mistake of ordering a cinnamon croissant that had as much flavour as...the table top, but was marginally softer. The arm chairs we sat in, no I meant sank in, were so low I was reminded of what it was like to be child with my chin resting on the table. I did take something away from this pricey mistake, the determination to never make the same mistake again.

Avoid this place at the moment, the hot water boiler has been broken for almost weeks so no hot water for tea or Americano coffee's, out of toilets are locked out of use and the sandwich fridge has now broken down as...well. I really feel for the lovely staff who are completely embarrassed by the current situation and the complete lack of investment being made.

By far one of the best Costa's i visit, and i visit a lot of them. Great staff and always a positive vibe.
