Clare Don's Beach Shack

I was really excited about this place because of the rave food and drink reviews, but it was overall disappointing to say the least. We ordered two margaritas and grilled fish tacos, and none were good. Ordered the margs without ice, but they still tasted watered down and not sweet- hard to explain the taste but they were just bad. The fish tacos were also not good- lacking any flavor, period. I'm not sure any of it was salted, and was expecting some lime or a citrus flavor

Really cool place with great drinks and appetizers. I love that they have vegan options and the fried pickles are amazing. Last time we came we were really happy with our food and experience (get the blackened tofu tacos) but most recently we were left disappointed. We were sat at a table with an extreme slant at first, which was really uncomfortable but luckily we were able to move. Always fun to go to Clare Don's Beach Shack and a bonus to be able to bring the dogs! Their expanded space is great so less wait time, but parking is not as convenient with the expansion. They have made arrangements for plenty of overflow parking within a few minutes walk so not a big deal. Service is attentive and the food is good. The size of the side dipping sauces is too small but they gladly bring additional when asked. So fun and casual. Conversation with

There's not much to say other than this place is great in every way. Great food, good vibe and great service. We got the hush puppies and fried pickles to start and both were excellent. Had the fish and chips and sand thing, really good and fresh. Can't wait to go back!

Interesting beach-themed restaurant with very nice and interesting decor. The food was okay (had the alligator tail), but was a bit pricey for what it was. The beer selection was okay, too, but could be better. Fairly decent place overall.
