Chocolada Bakery Cafe

The waitresss made the visit. We went on a Friday evening. My friend and I chose Chocolada to have an epic catch up session. We knew it had good coffee, desserts and outdoor seating. Firstly, I will say that the waitress absolutely made our visit. She was very attentive and very nice. Thank you! We started with a delicious fruit tart dessert and champagne. As we waited two hours for our simple order of two veggie pizzas to come out we were given bread and oil and after given a few truffles. I will commend the management for that. We were chatting away throughout for almost four hours. Continuing with more Champagne, four espressos each, and two more rounds of desserts ha ha ha. There was a guy there who I believe was the owner. He was not very friendly and seemed to look over the shoulder of everyone both working and dinning. He was a total turn off. The pizza was good but if you expect typical pizza dough or NY style this is not it. Dessert and espresso was very good.

Romanian Bakery. I love that they had desserts that I had never heard of that were traditional Romanian sweets. The girl behind the counter was very patient and knowledgeable about the many pastries and sweets I asked about. We decided on a Triumph , a chocolate rugalaugh and a cafe mocha. All three were excellent, but the Triumph was like nothing I have tasted before! It is made of layers of moist cake and a hazelnut charlotte cream and the whole thing is covered in chocolate with bits of hazelnuts all through it ... heaven! It was rich and light at the same time .... Imported coffee, def going back!

a terrible service. 20 minutes waiting for drinks before we even ordered to eat, which then took another 30 minutes to arrive and they were not even busy. when the food arrived, two items were wrong and two were not coming. beyond that, it was at best average and this is generous. nothing real. then, when the check arrived, it had automatically added a 20% tip. very expensive, completely disappointing eating. Don't go!

embedded dining areas. nothing beautiful. outside the seat at the walk where my wife and I took a table. the weather was unseasonally beautiful. good for people who watch. we ordered a type taco, with huh. three corn tacos came with each order. they were very tasty. they came with sides of pint beans and yellow rice. a very good meal.
