Chinarestaurant 'Kanton'

The cozy upper room of this restaurant in beautiful Insel Lindau is very beautiful especially with the stained glass windows. The food is the best I have had in the thirty-two years in Europe. I had the Beef and Onions and had to stop myself...from eating it all and being too full. My brother had the Duck and Chicken combo and like myself could not stop eating. The service was also one of the friendliest I have seen here in Europe.

We came to Lindau by train, hungry tired. The lady who served us (Owner's wife? went to considerable difficulties to serve us at noon, though (We thought they were close nearby.... Their kindness to two British was a bit overwhelming, because... why they deserve a special mention here. Her food was as good as her prices!

big portions so don't order too much! this is a standard chinese family restaurant so I shouldn't need to explain what's on offer. seemed reasonably priced.
