China Station Lu

I come here whenever I'm in Stony Brook for the most authentic Chinese cuisine I found on Long Island, and some of the spiciest food everywhere! I love the beef hot end spicy soup; it is a huge bowl of broth and rice noodles, filled with vegetables I had never seen (Lotus root!?, thin cut beef, various kinds of mushrooms and marine plants... I order it extra sharp, it is a 4-alarm dining experience!

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. I have been here almost 10 times and each visit has been a positive experience. The cuisine is very authentic and I thoroughly enjoy it. However, during my last visit, I encountered a broken sink and a lack of paper towels in the restroom. Despite this, everything else was as wonderful as always.

This restaurant may seem a bit intimidating if you are not Chinese, but it is definitely worth visiting. It is a casual spot popular among students in the area, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Some recommended dishes include the beef soup, sautéed pork noodles, and General Tso's chicken, for a taste of American Chinese cuisine.

I really like the food at this restaurant. My favorite dishes are either the hot and spicy beef soup or the beef soup. Despite being a small restaurant, the quantity and quality of food here are excellent. It's a lovely place to dine.
