Chicon - Reservar uma mesa

The owner himself had a seated in less than a minute, and was extremely friendly and helpful. We ask him to recommend a meat dish and a salad which he did. The meatballs with sauce or hot and delicious, and the salad that preceded was very interesting with the tuna topping. They served fresh extra virgin all of oil and vinegar with the salad, a delicious house wine and Cruzcampo beer which is made locally. We were seated along the street looking at a beautiful fountain. And when he served us our salon dessert with coffee he was singing a little tune! The menu was well priced, a good value. I highly recommend this little find.

The Chicon Bar is located in the center of Antequera, just opposite the parish church of San Sebastian. To be honest, the interior does not look very inveting for tourists to sit down and order drinks tapas. But they also have a nice outdoor seating area, overlooking the local street life and the opposite San Sebastian church. Service is very friendly and good. We had a coffee and a bocadillo, the value for money is good as well.

Just looking for a coffee and some rest we were welcomed by some older local man sitting alone at one of the outside tables. And as all other seats were taken we greatfully accepted. Good coffee, nice seating in the shade.

Fabulous lunch on a rainy Monday in October. Gambas pilpil, manchego and Serrano ham. Great service and lovely food served with a smile

What a lovely restaurant, with helpful staff. We all had a selection from the ‘menu del dia’ and drinks for €43. Thank you!
