Nice little hidden gem off of Roselle road! Lots of delicious options here!!. Sadly they didn't have any Boston cream donuts, but they had many other options! It was a little chaotic this morning and a little bit unorganized, I think they were short staffed as well. It took a little bit of time to get help and someone tried to cut in front of me because there was no real line. Wasn't done intentionally, but there was no structure. Maybe put a number system in place as a suggestion.I'm guessing because of the cost of eggs prices have gone up so be prepared to spend a few extra bucks , this isn't your local Dunkin' donuts Brought the box of goodies to work and everyone loved it, It was very fresh, very soft and very tasty¡¡
One of our favorite bakeries! Love all the baked goods and pizza bread too! We always laugh about what they're going to come up with for the chocolate-dipped strawberries for each holiday. The employees are all friendly and helpful. They need a coffee menu and spots to sit! I would love to hang out here any time of year with a friend, a book, and a few pastries and a coffee or two! Wish they could add on and make a cafe!
1. Once in there, it took a bit of it and that. The lobster roll was the best pastry I believe. Crunchy and the cream inside I could have really eaten a bowl! The harvest cookie and the double chocolate cookie also had a deep chocolate taste, which were quite brilliant. I live in Des Plaines, so it would be a drive, but I would seriously go there to get baked goods! Wonderful!
I wanted to ask if they could put a few things on my side, as we're going an hour to get there and told by Amanda in a rather rude tone, no. They said no was against their normal service as we have gone to this place for some time (and now, since we have moved, we drive far away), but the evil demon was not appreciated. We will not come back on this experience.
