Chez Richard - Reservar uma mesa

Went there with a friend. It was my 5th visit to Burgundy and first for my friend. I told her that the restaurants are excellent there and wanted her to be nicely surprised. We had wine tasting earlier at château de meursault, booked the hotel in the village and wanted to go to the restaurant nearby. This restaurant is listed in Michelin guide and I expected something outstanding. The service was not very friendly. The tables served without table cloth, no plates for the bread. The red wine by glass was below average and the only had 2 not meat dishes. We had the fish. May be there are famous for their meat dishes, who knows. We didn't have a chance to try. There is no music in the restaurant. No menus ( starter+main+dessert)The prices are too expensive for the dishes proposed. For 3 starters+2 main dishes+2 glasses of wine plus water paid 100 eur!Wine is overpriced. Don't recommend. During my last 4 visits of this region dined in much better places that costed me less. They need to improve either on service and table setting or lower their prices.

When traveling from Beaune to Chassagne on Route D974, we noticed this restaurant and decided to check it out. We were immediately greeted at the door and felt right at home. This was the beginning of a great experience at Chez Richard. The decor is bright and modern and love the idea of being able to watch chefs in their kitchen. For dinner, we had the rillette de lapin, pasta with sweetbreads and pigeon, all which were excellent. If you're looking for a great restaurant in Burgundy area, I highly recommend coming here.

An unassuming frontage leads to a good experience true 'foodies' will revel in. All courses were exceptional. Being in Burgundy, the Beef Bourguignon had to be sampled. Best we've had - period!Highly recommended and friendly service too. One of the best meals I've had out in France and that is saying something.

We visited here as we are staying nearby in Pommard. The food is wonderful and so full of flavour. The wine list is extensive with some very good wines by the glass. I can honestly say that the dessert was one of the best I have had in France. Also the service is excellent.

Went for lunch and had lovely meal with snails to start and pigeon as a main Nice table outside and good facilities with attractive decor Really recommend it
