Excellent all round. Doesn’t seem to have been reviewed by any Brits since 2019, and unfavourably then, but whatever problems there may have been in the past with service, they are long forgotten. Very efficient, friendly, well-trained staff; clearing and resetting tables as soon as they were vacated. Our simple lunch was just what we wanted, moules frites and a very generous salad Perigourdine. The coffees were particularly good. But the coup de grace was when we discovered we had lost the key for our impregnable bike lock. Unable to get an answer from the only taxi offered by Google, we asked the restaurant if they could find us a taxi. The proprietor told us we had no chance of finding a taxi, but he would give us a lift. He drove us to our boat in Piriac, waited while I retrieved the spare key, and gave us a lift back to our bikes in Guérande. Nearly an hour of his time, and would take nothing. Truly a lifesaver.

We stopped twice at this place during our visit to Guerande. First to take a coffee in a warm sun on the central square with a view over cathedral, then a 2nd time to have a lunch. Location is perfect, coffee was average and the lunch very good. We shared a crepe as a starter and then opted for classical carpaccio. Everything was tasty and the service was fine.

A busy day but no staff it seems. Waited ages outside to be spotted for an order to be taken 5 simple drinks and then took ages for it to be delivered (all bottled drinks) When the drinks arrived 3 glasses had 1 piece of ice and another had none! Oh dear nice place nice staff but hopeless.

Situated in the main square of the Old Town, makes this an ideal spot to stop for a coffee. No tourists when we were there just locals. Very atmospheric.

Service can only be described as appalling. No order to serving. As a visitor not impressed . Advice...dont bother.39 mins to get a simple drink ????
