Chester Diner - Reservar uma mesa

I came here to eat and the food and service was good. This evaluation is for my takeover order. The food I ordered was soaked in oil. I had to use a lot of paper towel to suck the excess oil. It's like my food was boiled in oil instead of fried. I couldn't even eat the loaded potato skins. They were old, cold and smelled like cardboard. I spent almost $30 for a meal I couldn't enjoy. I hope management takes a closer look at their cooking and food preparation techniques.

Perfect portions and reasonable prices. All those who worked there were very nice. I ordered something that was a special request and they heard and made it perfect. Bonus the hairs were HOT and crispy! Crazy how so many diners can't get it right, but this place did it. The decor was a bit dated and it could use a refreshment of color, but the quality of the food was great.

Good portions and good food. Might be original stools at the counter and then dining area was renovated not too long ago in past. Probably would increase to five stars after eating there more. My first time in many, many years. Waitress Donna was cool and gave it that old school diner feel for me with her friendliness...or maybe I just love being in NY again.

They have a gluten free menu. Vegetarian and vegan options which include the impossible burger. I got the gluten free cheese ravioli and they had fresh jalapenos which we asked for. Was great

My first impression was pure, but only because I went to the bathroom first. The staff was responsive and the food was good.
