Chef Zhang - Reservar uma mesa

while they visited my friends last year, they mentioned chef zhang was a new Szechuan restaurant that had just opened near them. they wanted to make me try, because they knew I would appreciate it. as a native in ny’s flushing (chinatown), however, I was a bit skeptical how good and authentic it would taste because I was already really good and authentic Chinese foods at home. we ordered a mix of appetizers and main dishes to get a full experience. as soon as the dishes came out (very fast, I must add), the aroma that it emits, signaled to my taste bud that we were for a tasty! every single dish surpassed my expectations and I was pleasantly surprised! if I was blind and did not remind me that I had been driving two hours to visit my friends (lol), I would not be able to tell the difference between eating home or from this wonderful restaurant. the service was great and all staff members were very quick to help and did not travel to us although it was close to the closing time. some of my favourite dishes were the XO frying and the aubergine with garlic sauce. we have ordered quite a lot from any protein category and no one had disappointed. hungry, but can't decide at a place? let me save them the effort and make the decision for them before the iron strikes. we see each other in the chef zhangs! even if they are not a spicy food type of person, there are still many delicious (non-spicy) options to satisfy their palate!

if they want to eat a good meal with authentic Chinese, they do not see further. be ready for some of the articles to be more authentic and not American. they have the classic American fair, but for the true taste experience they go from the main part of the menu. the pork soup noodles are big and all the portions for all the meals that are huge. in any case you have to go back to try more dinge.

amazing and affordable eating! the menu is long, but the descriptions of each article are short. we had no idea that the dishes were so complicated and sharp. what the place lacks in the atmosphere, it is more than in the taste. wow!

new year dinner with friends. the price is cheaper than philadelphia’s chinatown, and eating is delicious. the bill is more than $55, the lobster nudel just $20, they are soft open, we will come back

Food quality is great and the dishes are very authentic! Got a very big menu with a variety of selections, would definitely visit again soon!
