What a disappointment! The food is mediocre at best and OVERPRICED like it's a 5 star restaurant and not a hole in the wall in a strip mall with smelly inside and plastic chairs outside. They served $4.5 dry tacos with no salsa (authentic Mexican? . The service was also average at best. The suggested service charge started at 20%, followed by 25%. Suddenly, Matador Room at the Edition hotel seems like a steal. Definitely not a place I will come back to or recommend.
And we back again we can't pass this place. We came and ordered as usual!!! Mix Fajitas, quesadillas and special dish of the day with grilled fish. And for dessert we ordered brownies with vanilla beans ice cream on the top. Everything unbelievable as usual. Service is very polite and with explanations if you don't know the dish! Dish of the day the waiter suggested us and we decided to try it.
This place is a hidden gem. Read great reviews and decide to try. The servers were friendly. They give you complimentary salsa and chips, so good. We ordered the enchiladas which was amazing! It was our first time trying this dish. We also got a set of 3 taco pastor and steak skirt tacos. So good. Best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The prices are also reasonable.
We came here for my boss' bday and had a great time! Everything came out fresh and our server was awesome. Doesnt look like much from the outside but its very cute inside. I would definitely try another entree next time, the mole got over powering by the end of it. The tacos looked pretty standard, so I'd skip those. Everyone loved the tamarindos and fresh lemonade!
