We stopped to have a drink after riding a bike, almost 40°C (4 Coca-Colas and two chocolates), the waitress was a little impertinent, they took us a long time and asked if I could bring it to us, please, that we had a lot of thirst, and it was a bit of a edge. After that question a comment was made with another comensal (in French) as laughing at my question or judging it, I suppose. But well, then inside there is a Spanish-speaking waiter who was very friendly and filled the water to continue. It doesn't take 10min to serve a coke, it's the only criticism I can do.

After the iconic climb by bike from the Romanche valley, what better way to celebrate than at this unpretentious, modest, but honest little cafe! Top quality snacks for the weary biker, without the usual rip-off you associate with being 'captive ' on top of a mountain. We enjoyed superb omelettes and pasta, along with delicious local myrtille tarts, and sincere, friendly service.
