The first time in my 50-something years that I order a very rare sirloin and they serve me the tail of it, a piece that ranges from a thickness of 1 cm to a maximum of 2 cm and a length of about 15 cm. Yes, It was sirloin,,,YES,,, but at home we cut it up for stew. A person who orders very rare is not the first nor the one who has eaten beef sirloin for sixty years. Sirloin lovers have in mind that tender piece of beef, about 10 cm or so and 4 or 5 cm thick. I am even more stupid for not returning it, a 10 for the cook who gave it to the village idiot.
