I wouldn't expect much from where it is, a strip-mall on Washington just east of Lincoln Blvd. It just didn't scream a big restorative. ****, it shares a parking lot with a Papa Johns. I don't know a good restaurant that does. And usually I will not go to a restaurant in the first week, first month or two that it is open to this matter; it is still ironing the kink, the food and service right and personally I don't want to be someone else guinea pig unless I'm Richard Geres... The interior is really small, 10 tables, 3 stands. The place has a very fresh, clean and open feeling about it. One of the walls is all white with cutouts for decorative statues. It's pretty cool design, especially for a small place. The wall looks like something that would be at the massive Cheesecake Factory RockSugar in Century City. From the moment I sat down, I liked the feeling. Then I saw the menu and prices and I liked it more, there was very fair with most items between $7.95-$9.95, all share sizes. Now I just hope the food was good. We ordered a Thai Iced Tea, because if you can't do this, make it good to turn off the lights, lock the doors and close now shop. Chicken Satay, Tom Yum Koong Soup (Traditionell Tom Yum Goong. It is the hot and acidic Limongrass soup not a small boy name), Cashew Nuts and Roasted Chili with beef and the essence of any Thai restaurant, Pad Thai. If your pad Thai isn't good, I'll never be back. For me Thai Iced Tea and Pad Thai in a Thai restaurant is like chips and salsa in a Mexican restaurant if they are not good, the rest of the food is probably also not good. I love Thai food. My favorite Thai places are Chan Dara in West LA, Thai Dishes in Santa Monica on Wilshire and sometimes Natalie Thai does good work. The Thai Iced Tea was delicious, sweet and creamy as everywhere. The Chicken Satay for only chicken on a spit was really tasteful and seasoned well. I find in most places the Chicken Satay is Bland and they just hang on their peanut sauce. At Celadon this is not the case, and the peanut sauce was also really tasty, thick and had a lyrty kick at the end, which easily hit you in the back of your throat, and I am not used to things that hit me in the back of my throat, but my girlfriend seemed more comfortable with him. Cashew nuts and roasted chilli with beef is a stirring frit with vegetables in a chilli sauce. It was not amazing, but it was good and supplements the other dishes well. The pad Thai looked right, nicely plated like everything we were served. I tasted it without lime or any hot sauce and it was fantastic if not better than Chan Dara, Thai Dishes or Natalie Thai. It packed so much taste, the noodles put together, the bean sprouts were fresh, crisp and the chicken were beautiful pieces of white meat. We have the CELADON baby... I think what impressed me most is that she just opened and it didn't feel that way at all. I would go totally back and I will probably choose it over these other places, except Chan Dara of course, the hottest of Tatted up Asian girls around just standing around and seeing sexy and flirt. Maybe this is a month two target for Celadon. (hidden link)

Small Thai shop with lunch specialities and a relaxed atmosphere. Note that if you check in on Yelp, you can get a free Thai ice tea. Takeout is available both indoor and outdoor. There are heat lamps outside. There is a small, free parking. Credit cards are accepted. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The pad Thai is really delicious, and if you ask for some chili flakes, they add a beautiful layer of spices to the sweet. The Celadonsuppet was hot pierced and came with many fish cakes/balls. The broth was mild and I ended everything in a seat, although I usually try to have a few leftovers for another meal, the soup was too tasty for me to stop eating. Overall, it is a small, relaxed place to pack some Thai food.

I liked what we had, the Veggiesuppe and the Celadonsuppe with some dump. Service was good. Go to show that you do not listen to all reviews, the best rating is yours and until you try a place, then you can make your own opinion, remember that we have all different tastes and different standards, my standard is when it tastes good, then it is for me that is all I care about, and the service and cleanliness.

Been going to celadon for few yrs, lately I have been noticing that the overall taste of the chicken fried rice and noodles dishes have not been very tasty. The overall taste and portion size has decreased. I ordered extra veggies for fried rice for extra $2, only got 3 broccoli and carrots. Standard of dishes not very favorable.Food: 2/5
