Cathedral Hotel

We had a staff xmas lunch at the Cathedral Hotel and it was fantastic. We booked a table upstairs (Alfresco side) and started with drinks on the balcony with views towards Adelaide oval. The area where we sat was not to noisy for conversation but close to the bar where you could also order your food. The menu was excellent (more than your norm pub meals) and the deserts were to die for (very decadent). The service was excellent both bar wise and meal wise. All in all had a terrific afternoon and wasn't to expensive. The Fleurieu beef fillet was sensational and the chocaalte jam donut desert brilliant

For a quick Friday night feed, we were at Cathedral, where the burgers are sensational, was told after it has won an award recently, not surprised there, well done, and we finished of with house doughnuts, yum.

The place has changed a lot since its refurbishment and now has excellent areas upstairs to sit and drink with friends. Friendly staff and a good range of beers - a very nice place to drop by.

A lovely hotel, nothing spectacular, but a real homely feel. Staff are great, seating is plenty. I will go back again.
