It is actually impossible to go anywhere else in Valencia that is actually worse wow! We accidently came across this restaurant whilst hungry, which was our first mistake. Firstly, the waiter (who seemed to be the manager) told us that we couldn't have sandwiches, despite the menu saying so (there are some random time restrictions on the menu). Secondly, the manager kept on hassling us to order paella (apparently, his is famous in Valencia). We now understand why it was inedible. We did have a panic that we were going to have a nasty tummy bug from it, but then realised that the paella would be sterile, from the salt! In addition to this, service was slow; the toilets were rancid; the kitchen aide was out the back smoking cigarettes with her rubber gloves still on; the kitchen looked like it would be shut down if the health inspectors came; and the prices are ridiculous easily double of what excellent food we had on other evenings in Valencia. This place is obviously surviving on only tourist trade who never return. There were no locals in there, which is usually a bad sign.

After waiting for a member of staff to seat us it was clear that this was not going to occur. Upon sitting we were approached by a waiter looking like a deer in headlights who then FAILED to bring the correct drinks order. Menus were requested and brought after a staggering 25 minutes. It seems slow service was the order of the day. An age passed before food orders were taken and was underwhelming When it arrived Chicken in the paella was dry burnt and salty and a small portion considering the price. The toilet was broken and filthy and the atmosphere was akin to a funeral service. Only go if you want to severely disappoint friends and loved ones alike

We arrived at 4p.m. beautiful view nice weather. We took the last available table. Used and dirty, no prob at all. The waitdress asked for the order, after the remark please clean the table first. She ignor us…. Maybe rude but that is not the service I would like to pay for The food is tasty but small dishes

The service was lackluster, the staff distant. Their paella valencia was more yellow rice than authentic dish. For a genuine paella with a proper soccarat, head to the restaurant next door—and pay less. And a note: the deafening music did no favors. Better options abound elsewhere.
